To assist student teams in reaching new heights with their venture concepts, the Diamond Challenge connects students to mentors with experience in the entrepreneurial community.
Why connect with a mentor?
Mentoring supplements the support provided by team advisors by providing insight based on professional experiences and domain expertise. Our mentors are seasoned entrepreneurs, business professionals, and community leaders who are passionate about supporting entrepreneurial education and helping high school students to put their ideas for new businesses and social ventures into action.

How it Works
Diamond Challenge participants and mentors create profiles on our mentoring portal, where they are then matched. Student teams can sign up for office hours with their mentor within the portal based on the mentor’s availability. It is suggested that teams arrange for 30-minute calls or virtual chats with mentors. Teams should be prepared with specific questions. Another great way to utilize mentors is to practice your pitch with them and receive feedback.
